Well it is written in English and I can read so that's all there is to it.
In fact, the Charlton Life massive were advised by Stephen Lawrence - the bloke who torpedoed the first deal by raising it as a state aid issue - that a veto on ground sharing would be a decisive factor in whether this one would hold up or otherwise against state aid this time around. They have been extremely disappointed to find that no such veto exists.
Now pipe down you ignorant pleb.

As for the contract, you're right, it will be the deciding factor, and I reckon smarter men/women/non-binaries than you will decide whether it does or doesn't offer an effective veto.

We haven't got a veto, if you read the CONTRACT, which I believe, in English Law, is more decisive than a column in the Sun, then you'd know we have the right to complain about it,in which case if E20 LLP maintain their position goes to an independent adjudicator who will inevitably find in the E20's favour given that football teams share stadiums with rugby teams throughout te season on Desso pitches (see Swansea/ Ospreys). What we would get is half our upfront money (£7.5 mil) and half our rent a season knocked off (£1.25 mil).

I thought there was a loophole that we could exploit which effectively worked out to be a 'veto' of sorts?
Something to do with another stadium user potentially adversely affecting the pitch or there not being a sufficient period of time between another stadium user using it and ourselves.

The thing that pushed me firmly into being in favour of the move was the thought of it being either us or spurs. I couldn't stand the thought of them playing their home matches in West Ham, so us moving seemed like a no-brainer. If we really haven't got a veto, then the board have sold us out. I'm not convinved we haven't though, I know there are clauses to try and give us an effective veto over other football clubs.
As for other events there, who gives a shit? If you can't see the difference between Chelsea or a cricket team, then you missing out on a big part of what being a football fan is about. I support West Ham because I'm from West Ham. Simple. For me it's always been about the place I'm from against other areas.

I can't agree with those saying they don't care if we share or not, as it's not our ground.
After the wrench of leaving home, either we die out, or make the OS our new home. There are no other options.
Part of making it our home, on my selfish part, is not even sharing with orient, let alone chelsea, ffs! The only time I want any of those cunts in is to sit in the corner and watch their team torn a new one by West Ham.
Any extra money in from this would not be worth it.
Just say NO!

You must not underestimate the strength of feeling our board has against tottenham. Renting out to Chelsea would be gutting for the 4b2s after preventing them from coming.
Yeah be proper gutted if I was Tottenham.
Getting to play at Wembley rather than an athletics gaff, then moving back to their purpose built football stadium...

OK, fair point, our stadium was not purpose built for football but I have no idea of who FC United are. Please enlighten me.
BTW I had my wedding reception at the Bulphan Village hall, many years ago, and it was very good.
